Tre Holloman Scouting Report
Tre Holloman a 2022, 6’1, 160 lb. guard out of Cretin Derham Hall High School has continued to draw national attention. Holloman is a hard-nosed defender who suffocates the ball handler for 84 feet. His long arms and great footwork allow him to consistently turn the ball handler and get 2.5 steals per game. On the offensive side, he is a pass-first point guard who has elite vision and ball-handling skills. He likes to intensely push the ball up the floor and find defenders out of rotation for easier passes. In the 2019-2020 season, Holloman averaged 9.2 assists per game. Although he is not the first option to score on a guard-heavy offense with other DI-DII talents he does average 11 points per game with a good high release on his 3 point shot.
Holloman plays for the Howard Pulley AAU team and is ranked the 79th best player in the nation (247 Sports) In the summer of 2019 he was one of only 29 sophomores to be invited to the USA mini-camp (USA Basketball). Holloman currently holds offers from Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa Sate, Wisconsin, Marquette, Baylor, Nebraska, Texas, and Michigan State.
